We just realized, that there is no notification setting on iOS settings, so the user can't set to be notified when he's near an Aura.
Is that intentional?
Or is that something you kicked out in order to meet Apple guidelines?

Also, would you be so kind to make sure, the Aurasma Kernel I have requested before is updated to the same version before I download it again. I just want to be safe here.

Regarding notifications - currently the notifications setting isn't available for skinned apps. This is not to do with the new Apple guidelines. I recommend you contact partner@aurasma.com to request this be put back in if you want it.

The nearby notifications was a feature that we got a lot of negative feedback about - people seemed not to like getting pestered by popups outside of the app. For this reason, we turned it off by default. Because so few people are using this feature, we have not spent much development time on it since.

About your kernel - i have contacted the chap who builds the skinned apps - he just rebuilt the app to be 100% sure it's the latest one!
